We have a multi-faceted approach to responsible investment, incorporating our activities with key stakeholders, our research/thought pieces and our approach to embedding ESG risks/opportunities in our investment philosophy and process, including the research work we do on third party managers. We believe, if done well, this approach can lead to improved risk-adjusted returns.

We consider several long term themes as part of our work, including climate change, biodiversity, anti-microbial resistance and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). For example, we expect climate change to have profound and long-lasting effects across all sectors of the investment landscape giving rise to many investment opportunities as well as representing a material risk.
