Investors realise that nature loss represents systemic risks for investment portfolios but find it difficult to measure and mitigate. That is the main message from Robeco's conversations with asset owners over the past year, including a roundtable held with five investors and the World Wide Fund for Nature – Netherlands.
The Biodiversity Traffic Light enables investors to identify leaders and laggards across the investment universe, and to start incorporating these insights in investments and active ownership. They hope the Traffic Light model will serve to support and inspire current efforts in the sector in their journey towards full integration of nature.
