... Since December, there has been an exodus of North American banks and asset managers from net-zero alliances. In response, the NZAM announced a temporary suspension, while undertaking a review to ensure that the initiative 'remains fit for purpose in the new global context'.

Investors are now asking themselves what else is coming and where things are going. In their Sustainable Investment (SI) Debate column, Robeco highlight the need for government action to support the transition. They believe the financial industry is still committed to net zero, but with increased policy uncertainty in the short term.
