ILX commitment to sustainability extends beyond their investment activities. In 2023, ILX proudly committed to achieving net-zero emissions, aligning its operations and investment strategies with global climate goals.
Below are some of the highlights:
- By 2023, ILX allocated nearly two-thirds of its committed capital across diverse EM sectors, with 60% focused on climate finance. Many of these investments supported companies’ efforts to transition away from high-emitting activities. Moreover, in the run-up to COP28, ILX committed to achieving net-zero emissions.
- Their first fully-fledged Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures report showcases the rigorous approach to managing climate-related risks and opportunities.
- ILX are continuously actively engaging with peers, networking organisations and the EU Commission to enhance the usability of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation regime for EM-focused managers.
