For performance and social equity reasons, companies should harness the full contributions and potential of women in the workplace by addressing these inequalities and not inadvertently enabling or perpetuating gender stereotypes.

It is imperative for companies to foster a climate of trust, respect and support that engenders adequate psychological safety for women and other non-dominant groups to fully participate in the workplace.
