... Emerging markets are often seen as high-risk, but the private credit sector in emerging markets is often underexplored, offering opportunities for higher returns and positive impact, with less competition. 

Sustainability, especially climate-focused strategies, is a central theme, as these markets are projected as critical in global emissions reductions. Matt and Karen discuss the importance of collaboration between governments and private capital in driving sustainable development, with examples of successful investments in renewable energy and critical minerals, which balance returns and sustainability goals.
