The impact market has grown 12x over the last 12 years to £10bn, driven by an increasingly diverse group of investors. Pension funds provide 21% of social impact investment in the UK, says Better Society Capital’s market sizing exercise. The highest concentration of pension fund investment is in social and affordable housing, which remains stable at £5.1bn.
