Tycho joined LGT Capital Partners in 2001 and has since been at the forefront of the firm’s ESG initiatives.

In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors of the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) since 2018 and is the only investment manager to have been elected for three consecutive terms. Tycho has played an important role in mediating between the private equity industry and the PRI, helping to refine the organization’s reporting and assessment framework.

Under Tycho’s leadership, LGT Capital Partners has systematically integrated ESG considerations across its investment processes and has steadily strengthened its capabilities in this field over time. The firm recently assessed 380 alternative investment managers based on a range of ESG criteria which reflects the ongoing development of its ESG manager assessments and the continued enhancement of its ESG portfolio analytics.
