Independent Governance Group (IGG) and Pensions for Purpose hosted an in-person masterclass examining the realities of climate risk, stewardship and fiduciary responsibility in today’s investment landscape.
This event brought together trustees, consultants and asset owners to take stock of the climate investment agenda in 2025. From overcoming data challenges to addressing the widening gap between portfolio decarbonisation and rising real-world emissions, our expert-led sessions and facilitated discussions provided support to delegates in identifying practical, tangible next steps.
At the event, considered:
1. Where are we now on the climate journey?
2. What’s working – and what’s not?
3. And crucially, how can asset owners, trustees and advisers drive better alignment between risk, stewardship and long-term sustainability?
Who was this event open to?
This event was designed for asset owners, including pension fund trustees and in-house executives, professional trustees, independent advisers, government and regulatory bodies, investment consultants and industry stakeholders wanting to put into practice actions that will have a positive impact.
