Tatiana von Petersdorff, Sustainability Lead, EY
Tatiana leads EY's actuarial and pensions sustainability proposition, which delivers sustainability and ESG support to a variety of pensions stakeholders. Her role also includes conducting research into the sustainability practices of UK pension providers, which is shared in regular publicly available publications.
Before joining EY, Tatiana worked at Cardano Risk Management in the manager research team, where she researched a variety of different asset classes for pension scheme investment portfolios and developing frameworks for assessing asset managers on ESG. She also has experience as an investment consultant, providing investment strategy and risk management advice to UK defined benefit pension schemes.
Natalie Winterfrost, Trustee Director, Law Debenture Trust Corporation
Natalie sits on the Boards of a several pension schemes seeking to take a lead in sustainability, such as DHL and M&S; this is an area she is passionate about. Natalie has had a varied career in actuarial and investment work before her move to trusteeship, including a decade as an investment consultant and with an asset manager. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a CFA Charterholder, past Chairman of the CFA Society of the UK and Fellow of the CFA UK, in recognition of her contribution. She is also an inaugural member of the new Trustee Sustainability Working Group.
Caryl Embleton-Thirsk, Head of ESG – UK Client Solutions, Schroders Solutions
Caryl is Head of ESG and a Senior Strategist within the UK Fiduciary Management business at Schroders Solutions. She is responsible for the ESG proposition within Schroders’ FM solution, as well as advising clients on their investment strategy and journey plans, including supporting trustees achieve their sustainability objectives. This includes delivering ESG training and providing ESG governance support to clients, and responsibility for ESG integration within client portfolios. Caryl collaborates closely with the fiduciary portfolio manager research teams to drive innovation and enhance the portfolios’ sustainability credentials. Caryl is a qualified actuary and holds CFA UK certificates in ESG and impact investing.

Charlotte O'Leary, CEO, Pensions for Purpose
As CEO and an Executive Director of Pensions for Purpose, Charlotte oversees the running of the business, develops the growth and innovation strategy, and looks for opportunities to build partnerships to achieve their mission. Charlotte is a member of the Sounding Board for the Social Value Portal, the Advisory Board for the Sororum, the pensions expert group for the Global Steering Group for Impact Investing and a member of the Pensions Equity Group.
She has over 15 years of experience in asset management, starting in fund analysis and progressing through to institutional business development, and has worked for some well-known institutions, including Jupiter, Pictet and Cambridge Associates. Through these roles, Charlotte has built a knowledge and passion for sustainable investing. She has demonstrated this by co-authoring a paper with the Society for Pension Professionals on social impact investing, and speaking on topics such as fee and service transparency at Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA) and Transparency Taskforce events. She worked in partnership with the Impact Investing Institute to develop the Impact Investing Principles for Pensions.
