The session focused on how you go about ensuring your investment consultant and managers align with your impact objectives:
  • How do you build impact into the appointment and review of investment consultants and managers? What should you be asking and what are the red flags?
  • How will they bring you new investment ideas that relate to social and environmental impact?
  • What are their stewardship policies, do they offer split voting, customised services?
  • What are the measurement frameworks they use?
  • How are they incentivised?
Barnett Waddingham unpacked these questions through their presentation, followed by a moderated Q&A session with participants where they drew out the key challenges and solutions in finding third-party providers with impact integrity.
