Over the course of my career in the city, I have been lucky enough to have worked for some fantastic companies and I have been privileged to have met a huge variety of people, all of whom who have, in their own way, educated me, interested me and provided me with numerous reasons to stay working in asset management for nearly 28 years.

In this time, as we all know, there have been huge changes.  Regulation and legislation have been the key drivers but so has the need ‘to do the right thing’.  The work that Pensions for Purpose does most definitely fulfils the latter.

In the time that I have had away from the City, which I have spent working in the outdoors, volunteering and coaching, I have seen that the need to do the right thing for the environment extends across all sectors, industries and cohorts.  I was delighted when an opportunity arose for me to be part of the work that Pensions for Purpose does.
