My undergraduate psychology degree kickstarted my love of research and drive for social change. Working in customer services alongside studying for my degree has allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills and discover my love for helping people. My interests in greening the planet, sustainability and learning mean this internship is a dream come true, allowing me to align my academic and other interests and bring them into a professional setting.
Being disabled from the age of 16 has provided me with a different perspective on the world and an equivocal desire to share my experiences and push for societal changes for disabled people. Being a member of the diversity, equity and inclusion committee at university deepened my awareness of DE&I issues and broaden my skills to advocate for positive social change.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, baking, and relaxing with my cats. Spending time with my family and friends is important to me. I will forever have a joy for learning and look forward to learning new skills and deepening my knowledge during my time at Pensions for Purpose.
