As a Non-Executive Director on the Pensions for Purpose Board, Kevin's main focus is to support the executive team, ensuring they consider legal, regulatory and other risks in forming and delivering their strategy.
Kevin has been a solicitor for over 30 years, many of which were spent in private practice, helping clients in many different sectors to grow their businesses, through mergers and acquisitions, and fundraisings. He has also worked with sponsors and investors in investment funds, many of which have had an impact focus, and that has given Kevin a personal interest in exploring how society’s problems can be met through investment, while also providing investors with a fair return for their risk.
Outside Pensions for Purpose, Kevin is Director of Risk & General Counsel at Brunel Pension Partnership Limited, the operator of one of the LGPS pools, which manages c£35bn on behalf of its 10 clients. Brunel focuses on forging better futures by investing for a world worth living in, their mission is aligned with what the Pensions for Purpose team is trying to achieve in the UK pensions market. He sits on Strategic ExCo, as well as co-chairing the Risk & Compliance Committee, and works closely with their Board.
When Kevin is not working, he enjoys spending time with his partner and three daughters, as well as acting as churchwarden of his local church in Worcestershire
