Angela is a Non-Executive Director on the Pensions for Purpose Board. As a chartered accountant, Angela brings expertise in risk and compliance, finance, business transformation and operations to help support the Executive team.

Angela has over 25 years’ experience in financial services across retail life, pensions, asset management, professional trusteeship, retail and commercial banking, and wealth management.

Angela was previously Chair of the Financial Times Pension Plan governance committee, working with the Plan provider to improve responsible investment awareness and offerings to members.

Having spent time working for a professional trustee firm, Angela moved back to the life and pension provider sector in 2024. She has recently been appointed Head of Compliance Advisory and Business Oversight for Phoenix Group (Standard Life). She also holds other independent audit and risk committee appointments.
