Sophia is an experienced investment consultant and is now a professional pension trustee. Her pensions career started in 2006, training to be an actuary with Punter Southall. In 2008, she moved to P-Solve (now Schroders Solutions) to start working in investment, focusing on derivatives, liability-driven investment (LDI) and structured equity.

Since then, Sophia has worked for Cardano and Barnett Waddingham in roles as a senior investment consultant within fiduciary and advisory governance models, LDI portfolio manager and LDI manager researcher.
Before joining Vidett in 2022, Sophia spent two years at Insight Asset Management as a client director, where she was responsible for relationships with large institutional investors.

Sophia's investment roles have had a strong focus on responsible investment and ESG analysis, using this to assist trustees in determining their responsible investment beliefs and developing ways to reflect those beliefs in investment portfolios.
