Rod is a Trustee with Citizens Advice. He has over five years' experience in finance, starting his career in real assets private equity in the USA. Subsequently, he worked at multiple asset managers such as PIMCO and PineBridge across investor relations, ESG investment and stewardship. In 2024, he joined Climate Asset Management's ESG team as an ESG-Impact Associate.

Rod has also been an ESG Associate at Maanch, an ESG technology start-up, conducting ESG analysis for private markets. He has served as a member of the ESG Group at the CFA Institute and an ESG Researcher at the Centre for Climate Finance & Investment at Imperial College Business School. He is a published author, having written articles on infrastructure and sustainable investment for the CFA Institute.

Rod holds a BA in Economics, Political Science, International Relations from the University of Rochester and is studying for an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance at Imperial College Business School. He has also completed the CFA Certificates in ESG Investing and Climate Investing and holds the SASB Financial Sustainability Accounting (FSA) certification.
