Laura Chapman is Interim Chief Sustainability Officer at London CIV. She joined the LCIV team from Tesco Pension Investment where she was Head of Responsible Investment. Laura has over 20 years of investment industry experience.

She began her career in real estate investment and equity raising, and has worked in investment roles across private markets including infrastructure, agriculture and private credit. Laura’s passion for ESG led her to focus on RI full time. Her responsible investment roles have covered all asset classes including public and private markets and liability-driven investments. She has focused on integrating RI into the full investment cycle from selection and analysis through monitoring and engagement. She has developed strategy and reporting capabilities, and is passionate about achieving outcomes that improve the environment in which we live and invest.

Outside of work Laura supports her husband running a regenerative farm, and is fascinated by sustainable food and farming systems.
