Chloe Horne is an investment manager at Nest Pensions, leading the development and management of Nest’s approach to investing in a way that addresses social and human rights risks and opportunities. She is also involved in corporate engagements, shaping ESG strategy, contributing to industry standards and initiatives and embedding member voice into Nest’s investment approach.
Chloe sits on the steering committee for the Asset Owner Diversity Charter (AODC), an initiative for asset owners to push for better diversity and inclusion standards across the industry and among asset managers. She also co-chairs the 30% Club UK Investor Group’s working group to facilitate collaboration among investors to engage with UK companies on gender and racial diversity in leadership teams.
Before working at Nest, Chloe was a Senior Stewardship Specialist at UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and worked in corporate responsibility at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) before that. Chloe graduated from the University of Bristol with BSc in Economics and the University of London with a MSc in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics.
