Andrew is a Founding Partner of Civitas Investment Management (Civitas), a leading pan-European impact investor working across healthcare, education and living assets.

Civitas has over £3.5bn under advisory and supports the delivery of high-quality sustainable assets while delivering positive social impact to the underlying service users and their families. With over 1,300 assets delivering care to almost 10,000 individuals, Civitas is the largest private investor in this asset class in the UK.

Andrew has been in the social housing and social infrastructure sectors for over 20 years. He was the adviser to and founder of PFI Infrastructure Plc, which in 2004 became the first publicly traded company in London dedicated to investment in social infrastructure.

He was also the co-founder of Funding Affordable Homes, one of the first investors to provide private capital into the social housing sector. Andrew has worked in a senior capacity in the financial sector for over 30 years. He was previously Co-Head of Capital Markets at Société Générale in London. He has also been actively engaged in other property activities in the UK and internationally. He holds a BSc in Geography from Queen Mary University of London, and is a Chartered Accountant.
