Alex is an Investment Manager for Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF), working in the Local Investments team. GMPF are one of the largest Local Government Pension Funds in the UK and has an allocation of 5% towards Local Investments.  Alex joined GMPF in May 2021.

Alex has responsibility for the Impact Portfolio which has an investment mandate to gain cost effective, diversified exposure to impact investments located predominantly in the North West of England with a focus on Greater Manchester. The impact themes of the portfolio are primarily Jobs and Place.

Alex has a degree from the University of Warwick in Law and Business Studies and is a Chartered Accountant (CPFA) and a CFA® Charterholder.
